Fed: Hicks says he was tortured by the US
DAVID HICKS says he was tortured by US personnel during interrogations in various locations.
News Limited says HICKS' graphic account of his treatment by the Americans is in a
sworn statement to immigration authorities in Britain to support his bid for British citizenship.
He pleaded guilty to terrorism-related charges at a US military tribunal .. and will
be transferred from the American prison to a South Australian jail to serve nine months.
HICKS has been held at a US military prison in Guantanamo Bay .. Cuba .. for five years,
after he was captured among Taliban forces in Afghanistan in late 2001.
