Fed: Turnbull and Truss dismiss coalition split talk

Coalition party leaders MALCOLM TURNBULL and WARREN TRUSS have both dismissed talk
of a split in the Liberal Party- Nationals coalition.

Mr TURNBULL says the partnership is solid even though the Nationals might at times
vote differently on some issues.

It follows a newspaper report claiming a recent Nationals party room meeting discussed
breaking from the Liberals .. with unhappiness centred around the emissions trading scheme.

Mr TRUSS admits the issue may have been discussed but not seriously.

He says there's no serious consideration given to severing the relationship and there
are no plans to talk about it again.
